The Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa is a permanent resident visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. To qualify for this visa, you must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) using the SkillSelect system and then be nominated by a state or territory government.

• Work and study in Australia
• Enrol in Australia’s public health care plan, Medicare
• Sponsor relatives to come to Australia
• Travel to and from Australia for 5 years
• If eligible, become an Australian citizen.

This visa requires that you have a job on the applicable skilled profession list, satisfy the appropriate English language criteria, and have your abilities evaluated by a competent authority. Qualified candidates and their families can permanently reside and work in Australia.
