1: You Must

•  Intend to visit Australia and just bring enough money for your stay.
• Be outside of Australia when you apply and when immigration decides your visa.

2: What Can You Do?

• You can visit family and/or friends,
• Come here as a tourist, cruise, or for any other reason other than business or medical treatment.
• This visa allows you to study or train for up to three months. If your primary objective for visiting Australia is to study, a student visa may be more suited.
• You are unable to work.

3: How Long Can You Stay?

• This is a short-term visa.
• You are permitted to stay for the duration or days mentioned on the visa issuance letter. The length of your visa is determined on an individual basis.
• Immigration may examine the following factors when establishing your stay period: how long you want to remain; and why you want to stay in Australia.
• Australian Immigration may not be able to accommodate your desired duration of stay.
• Australian Immigration can issue this visa with either a single or multiple entry.
• If Australian Immigration provides you a visa with multiple entries, you may leave and return to Australia while the visa is valid.
• In general, Australian Immigration allows a three-month stay. Immigration may allow you to remain for up to 12 months.

4: Cost

• Each applicant will be charged AUD 145 for this visa.
• If you have been affected by COVID-19-related travel limitations, you may be entitled for a remission of the Visa Application Charge (VAC).
• You may also be required to pay additional fees for:  health checks, certifications from the police , biometrics

• Meet the Australian Immigration Office’s health requirements.
• Meet the Australian Immigration Office’s character requirements.
• If you owe money to the Australian government, you must have paid it back or made arrangements to pay it back.
• You must have or have access to sufficient funds to maintain yourself while in Australia.
• Be a genuine visitor.
